Abstract

The article highlights the details of the biography and scientific work of the outstanding engineer and systems scientist Gabriel Kron , as well as some areas of activity of his followers. His pioneering works on tensor analysis of networks and diakoptics (the study of complex systems in parts), ahead of their time, remain undeservedly forgotten by the general scientific public and are continued only among a limited circle of enthusiasts, including Russian scientists. The article was prepared on March 20, 2024.
