Abstract

The idea of humanism runs a red thread at different periods in the history of Russian philosophy and science, especially clearly declaring itself at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. In this regard, it is interesting to look at the design philosophy of Russian cosmism, which arose in the Silver Age under the pen of the thinker N. Fedorov. A project is a form of productive thinking that connects different patterns of the world and builds on a person’s ability to imagine. This philosophy was picked up in the activities of such domestic scientists as K.E. Tsiolkovsky, A.L. Chizhevsky, V.I. Vernadsky, N. Moiseyev, etc. The philosophy of Russian cosmism marked the line between scientific prognosis, social utopia and real humanism.
