Abstract

The article examines the practice of applying sustainable development strategies in the educational systems of Western and domestic schools. The study covers current issues of the implementation of sustainability principles in curricula and educational programs, as well as analyzes the experience of various countries in this area. Special attention is paid to the barriers and challenges faced by educational institutions in their attempts to integrate the concepts of sustainable development. The article examines successful practices, as well as offers recommendations for the further development and effective implementation of sustainable development strategies in school education. This research allows us to identify key trends and prospects for the development of sustainable education in the context of modern educational systems.
